Contrarily to what this journalist, the media and the Federal Government try to make people believe, it is an absolutely legal activity to fly a drone. See a specialized attorney's view on subject. www.dronelawjournal.com
As a matter of fact, to FAA attempted lawsuits have already failed thus creating a precedent which in absence of any law actually makes this activity legal.

<![CDATA[South Florida realtors rebel]]>Wed, 17 Sep 2014 20:46:40 GMThttp://eaglevision-media.com/1/post/2014/09/south-florida-realtors-rebel.htmlAs a matter of fact, FAA has already lost 2 court cases against drone users trying to enforce their guidelines. This even creates a precedent actually making it legal. In our country Congress votes the laws and no one else. Since the proposal from FAA goes 180 degrees against what Congress expected of them, it's not about to become a law. Simple as that and anything else is BS.

The inventor is in India and has been developing the concept for several years now. As for the drone, it's a stock S-1000 made in China. The only "innovation" is in the release device which is probably also already made and adapted. The Aussies should perhaps do their homework first before awarding "Innovation" awards.

<![CDATA[Flying drones in NY]]>Fri, 05 Sep 2014 19:10:26 GMThttp://eaglevision-media.com/1/post/2014/09/flying-drones-in-ny.htmlIf this article is true then they were released immediately without charges unless they broke the law in some other way. Flying a drone is not illegal, never has been and won't be unless Congress says so.
